As I walked and ran...well it was closer to a crawl...through the lovely scenery that makes up the Georgia State Botanical Gardens, I couldn't help feeling surrounded by God's presence. His fingerprints are visible in every tree, leaf, and flower. Though I took the long way through rough terrain and it was about 200 degrees F, I was at complete ease as I sat on a perfectly placed stone and gazed into the treetops. I could sit there lost in thought all day...In the midst of the chaos that is the Classic City, I found a sanctuary.
This is the beautiful little chapel nestled among the stillness of the garden.
This was my view as I sat in the middle of absolute wilderness. :)
Photos never do scenes like this justice.
Staring out through the trees.
More random trees. They were soooo green.
A blurry squirrel. He had actually posed for this one, but it's not very clear. :o(
Quaint little bridge overlooking a cute little pond.
